Rego Inspections
Making sure cars are roadworthy is a big part of the registration system. It’s also about protecting people – every vehicle must be registered to be covered by compulsory third party insurance. This insurance makes sure that everyone is covered for personal injury if someone is hurt in a crash.
Authorised Inspection Scheme (HVAIS & E-Safety Check) Station
Motive is a HVAIS & E-Safety Check Station accredited by Roads and Maritime to perform safety, identity and design checks. Once an inspection is complete, an inspection report will be issued which is valid for 6 months (E-Safety Check for Light Vehicles) or 42 days (HVAIS). You can renew your registration within this timeframe.
